We are seeking a highly motivated Interior Designer to support our growing interiors portfolio and work closely with the Lead Interior Designer on luxury residential projects, contributing to space planning, FF&E, palette development, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
Contribute to all phases of the design process from Concept through Procurement and Installation
Support the Architectural Team and Lead Interior Designer in all aspects of the interiors scope of work, including design collateral, furniture plans, FF&E budgets, and presentation graphics
Assist with FF&E procurement, including vendor quotes and coordination, client proposals, purchase orders, and logistics and tracking
Provide clear direction to trade contacts and consultants to ensure design intent is properly executed
Prepare and present design materials for internal and client reviews
Collaborate closely with KOVAC’s in-house architectural team, external consultants, and vendors to deliver a successfully integrated interiors program for each project
Desired Skills & Experience
4+ years of interior design experience, with a focus on high-end residential projects
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (AAS or higher)
Comprehensive understanding of the design process including Concept, Schematic Design, Documentation, Procurement, and Installation
Strong knowledge of trade vendors and product sourcing, with curiosity to identify new, creative products and resources
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Studio Designer
Exceptional graphic presentation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing detail with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Keen attention to detail and commitment to design excellence
