Position Overview The Outreach & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in connecting the Wellness & Fitness Center (WFC) with members, partners, and the surrounding community. This position is responsible for promoting the WFC’s programs, services and engagement. The Outreach & Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications and outreach initiatives that increase member engagement, drive program participation, and strengthen community partnerships. Utilizing the Mindbody platform, the Outreach & Communications Coordinator creates content and manages digital communications related to class schedules, promotions, events, and member engagement, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across all channels.

Salary Range

$30.07 - $41.86 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Digital Media or other related field

Six (6) months of experience using email marketing platforms and social media tools

Six (6) months of graphic design or content creation experience

Preferred

Experience in Marketing, Outreach, Communications, or Community Engagement

Advanced knowledge of Constant Contact, HubSpot, Mail Chimp, and/or other CRM platforms for managing contacts and email communication initiatives

Knowledge of META, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as the development, implementation, and optimization of social media advertising

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
