Overview

This role is for a client of Gallagher Recruiting Services. Human Resources Business Partner Location: Purchase, NY Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office (Tues Thurs) Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE Join our client's dynamic team as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees. This role combines people strategy with hands-on operational execution, supporting initiatives across HR operations, talent management, employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations and talent development. Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers and broader HR Team to deliver best in class onboarding experience. Support full-cycle talent management, including performance reviews, employee development, and succession planning. Conduct training sessions around the performance management process, as well as other topics. Provide coaching and counsel to managers on employee relations and team performance, and organizational effectiveness. Collaborate with business leaders and educational institutions to build and lead the company internship program. Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, prepare and update job descriptions and implement effective hiring strategies. Work closely with internal teams to address matters related to benefits, payroll, and compliance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data to support compliance, headcount reporting, distribution lists and documentation needs. Collaborate with broader HR team on talent, wellness and employee engagement initiatives and other employee events. Provide general Human resources support and coverage as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

8+ years progressively complex and diverse HR generalist experience. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Exceptional interpersonal and communications abilities, including strong presentation and training facilitation skills. Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple states. Proficiency with HRIS ideally ADP Workforce Now; comfort with data and reporting. Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite; proficient with Excel reporting and data analysis. HR certification - SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred.
