The Role: Hospital Account Manager (RCM) PayrHealth is hiring a
Hospital Account Manager
to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned hospital clients. You’ll drive client success by monitoring KPIs, leading onboarding, strengthening long-term partnerships, and using financial and operational insights to improve revenue cycle outcomes.
What you’ll do Serve as the main point of contact and trusted partner for assigned hospital accounts Monitor client RCM KPIs and performance metrics; identify trends and improvement opportunities Lead RCM onboarding for new hospital and ASC clients and ensure smooth transitions Coordinate across internal teams (operations, billing, credentialing, contracting, coding, sales, etc.) to deliver results Analyze billing and collections data to provide insights and recommendations that improve revenue cycle outcomes Prepare for and lead client meetings, document action items, and ensure follow-through Proactively manage issues, resolve concerns, and support strong long-term partnerships Identify opportunities for process improvement, cross-sell, and upsell in partnership with internal teams Support client and internal training as needed on processes, tools, and best practices
What you’ll bring Strong communication and negotiation skills Analytical strength and comfort working with financial and operational data Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and keep multiple priorities moving at once Knowledge of institutional billing processes and revenue cycle best practices Experience with Critical Access Hospital (CAH), Rural Health Clinic (RHC), and/or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) billing processes Familiarity with CPSI, SSI, and/or HSTPathways systems
Preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field (preferred) Experience in client relations, account management, and/or revenue cycle management Experience in billing or financial data analysis (strongly preferred)
