
The Legal Search Executive Recruiter is responsible for executing the full life-cycle of direct hire recruiting for various legal support roles within law firms and corporate legal departments. Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, creates and deploys client and role-specific recruiting strategies. Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing. Builds and maintains a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and roles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source and interview candidates for various legal support roles, including paralegals, legal project managers, conflicts attorneys, contract managers, etc. Conduct cold-calling to identify potential leads and effectively market candidates to clients, showcasing their skills and suitability for specific roles. Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship-building. Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding, on behalf of your candidates and clients. Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and attract candidates. Cultivates client accounts and drives new business by leveraging candidate and client leads, referrals and a variety of marketing strategies. Keeps up to date with current industry trends and recruitment best practices, while building and maintaining a network of professional contacts through active participation in trade associations and networking organizations. QUALIFICATIONS:
Paralegal Certificate or JD or 2+ years of legal experience within a law firm or corporate legal department. Proven experience in legal recruitment, preferably within a law firm or legal staffing agency, is a plus. Prior sales experience (retail, client services, business development, real estate), is a plus. The ability to sit in Los Angeles to facilitate candidate and client meetings is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of legal support roles and the skills required for success in these positions. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
