Director, Pediatric Pre-Surgical Testing — Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health – New Hyde Park, New York
Northwell Health’s Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Director, Pediatric PST to join our expanding team. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities. Qualified applicants must be board-certified in Pediatric Anesthesia and have completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship.
About Cohen Children's Medical Center
Cohen Children’s Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a major tertiary care center for children across surgical specialties including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, orthopedics, ENT, plastic surgery, urology, general surgery, ophthalmology, and transplant medicine. It houses a level 4 NICU in partnership with Long Island Jewish Medical Center’s high-risk maternal-fetal medicine team. Our pediatric anesthesiologists are recognized nationally for proficiency and innovation in pediatric regional anesthesia and acute pain management, providing 24/7 access to regional analgesia and anesthesia and performing a high volume of regional blocks for children in the region.
Faculty and Training
Faculty may hold an academic title with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Faculty participate in teaching as part of the ACGME pediatric anesthesia fellowship and residency, as well as Zucker School of Medicine students. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology is part of the Department of Anesthesiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Division faculty have diverse clinical, research, and educational interests and benefit from the resources of a large academic department.
