
The St. Louis Regional Program Director is responsible for the overall delivery of programs and activities in alignment with the mission and goals of Connections to Success. This role provides strategic direction, develops and implements new initiatives, and ensures high-quality program outcomes. The Regional Program Director works closely with staff, participants, community partners, and internal leadership to ensure services are delivered seamlessly and consistently. The position collaborates with project partners to ensure program goals are met and works closely with the Vice President of Community and Impact and the Data Manager to ensure fidelity of implementation across programs. The Regional Program Director also establishes and oversees performance management processes, collects and analyzes program data, and prepares reports for CtS leadership and funders.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Develop, implement, and oversee regional programs and initiatives.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting as necessary.
- Ensure program outcomes are being met or exceeded
- Supervise, mentor, and support regional program staff.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and innovation.
- Align regional program goals with the overall mission of the organization.
Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
- Represent the organization at regional meetings, conferences, and events.
- Collaborate with local organizations to enhance program impact.
- Develop and manage regional program budgets.
- Prepare, review, and submit complete and accurate expense documentation, ensuring all costs are allowable, properly coded, and delivered to Accounting in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
- Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts as needed.
- Oversee state and federal grants, including ensuring compliance, and accurate reporting, collaboration with Executive Leadership in writing and submission of Grant reports
- Ensure timely submission of grant reports to grants manager for final review
- Monitor grant-funded programs to ensure adherence to funding requirements.
- Work with finance and program staff to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of grant expenditures.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit regular program reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure programs comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution (4 years of social service case management experience may be used in lieu of education).
- At least 2 years’ experience working with high-risk populations to include those reentering the workforce from incarceration and low-income populations.
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff development.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and grant management.
- Experience with state and federal grant management, including application, compliance, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with the region’s social, economic, and cultural landscape.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Relationships:
- Reports to: VP of Community and Impact
- Internal Relationships: All Staff, Volunteers, Mentors, Participants, Board of Directors
- External Relationships: Membership Sites, Marketing Agencies, Potential Volunteers, Participants, and other Stakeholders
Additional Information:
This position is full-time, salaried exempt position. Employee will be eligible for full benefits including health, retirement, and vacation benefits on the first of the month following hire date. We invite potential candidates with incarceration / criminal justice system history to apply.

Starting Salary Range: $65,000 – 70,000, contingent on qualifications and experience
