JOB SUMMARY

Working without significant direction, provides marketing strategy support for software products and solutions across the North American market by meeting annual plan objectives, driving marketing communication strategies, measuring performance, developing sales tools, and problem resolution. Serves as a trusted advisor to clients and a partner to internal teams, facilitating the commercialization of software products and services. Ensures marketing activities align with cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements for software products, facilitating the successful sales, implementation, and adoption of software technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Translate customer needs and problems into marketing tactics, programs/campaigns, sales, or customer training, and develop and design objectives with clear KPIs.
  • Lead the North American software commercialization strategy, coordinate efforts with corporate communications, global marketing, cybersecurity, legal, service, regulatory, sales, and other functional areas to produce marketing programs and materials that increase sales velocity and enrich the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that marketing materials accurately represent the security and data privacy features and benefits of software solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry cybersecurity trends, data privacy, regulations, and best practices to communicate security value propositions to customers effectively.
  • Collect and analyze competitor information to inform our response in the marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate launch and post-launch activities, including sales, marketing, and training materials development.
  • Organize, coordinate, and present educational events for customers and sales personnel.
  • Assist customers in the optimal use of software products and drive marketing programs for services and digital solutions as part of a portfolio of offerings.
  • Manage key relationships with professional associations, centers of excellence customers, and KOLs.
  • Share market insights with internal partners for input into longer-term strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction (data-driven, business case methodology) to NA leadership and upstream marketing in terms of newly defined growth opportunities that impact our current offering.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize lead nurture programs and partner with sales to improve the quality and quantity of leads.
  • Monitor and analyze indicators of marketing program performance such as cost per lead, lead conversion, and make recommendations for channel optimization and new marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales organization and marketing managers to successfully identify business opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs.
  • Build and execute a content strategy highlighting innovations and the value proposition of the company's software solutions through case studies, whitepapers, and digital platforms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or the equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job, may be considered. An advanced degree is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in software marketing, sales, or software professional services. Experience with software integration and deployment is desirable.

Skills

  • Knowledge of marketing principles, with demonstrated expertise in translating customer needs into marketing strategies, solutions, and programs to meet organizational objectives.
  • Experience with software marketing or commercialization: commercialization plans, launch plans, implementation, software marketing strategies, service offering strategies, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Ability to coordinate internal teams and external agencies executing key marketing messages, marketing materials, marketing campaigns, trade show communications, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while driving results.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales/marketing annual planning and program management.
  • Basic cybersecurity and principles and their importance in healthcare/medical software.
  • Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (HIPAA, etc.) and how they impact software marketing.
  • Ability to translate complex security features into clear value propositions for customers.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems with creativity and good judgment.
  • Experience in healthcare software, medical devices, or related industries is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with scientists and other technical professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise solutions, and digital transformation within the software landscape.
  • Expertise in crafting value propositions, executive messaging, and solutions-focused marketing strategies.
  • Leading through influence, dealing with ambiguity, and being organizationally savvy.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Travel required to attend 4-6 trade shows per year for onsite marketing support, or roughly 15-20% travel.

PAY AND BENEFITS

Target Pay Range: $125,300.00 to $156,600.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

Target Bonus on Base: 10.0p>
