
Job Description
As the Senior Director of Learning and Development, you'll be responsible for building sustainable learning programs across multiple business areas. You'll build a culture of continuous learning, driving leadership development at all levels and aligning learning initiatives with the Best Buy's strategic objectives. In this role, you'll oversee the design, implementation and management of comprehensive learning programs that enhance employee performance and support Best Buy's long-term success.
This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
What you'll do
Work collaboratively with senior business leaders and human resources to understand the capabilities required to achieve business goals Develop and implement comprehensive outcome-oriented learning and development programs that align with enterprise strategic goals Shape and develop learning strategies based on business priorities Define learning metrics within the team and with stakeholders across the areas they support Develop internal and external partnerships to advance enterprise learning goals Manage learning governance to prioritize learning investments across enterprise programs and run the business training
Basic qualifications
10 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, sales enablement, or change management 5 years of people leadership experience 5 years of cross-functional stakeholder management Proven track record of developing vision and implementing enterprise strategy at scale
Preferred qualifications
7 years of experience leading an organization's learning strategy and design 3 years of experience teaching or facilitating in front of an audience both virtually and in person Ability to use data and analytics to inform strategy, create measurement, and shape the narrative
