Fire Service Expert Position
Successful candidates will value sell to become the customer's trusted advisor to earn the trust and business with all various customer stakeholders. As a Fire Service expert, this position will guide the customers through the buying process and help to differentiate US Digital Designs offerings. This position will drive demand generation for USDD to expand offerings into federal and military applications. This position would hold ultimate full-lifecycle responsibility to provide and support Mission-Critical Systems that (literally) help Save Lives and Property
so respect and service to these customers and the community they serve is paramount. We prefer whatever combination of skills and experience that would serve our customers and communities best. Key Responsibilities: Value selling from understanding the customers challenges and working to translate customers' needs into sales proposals. Technical acumen to evaluate and provide recommendations and best practices to serve the customer's needs. Regular on-site visits and communications with customers - before, during and after sales. Consistently conducting and maintaining research to better understand the competitive marketplace. Demonstrate expert level understanding of DoD procurement processes and contract. You Must Have: At least 7 years Public Safety subject matter expertise (preferable Fire, Medic, Dispatch) and At least 3 years in a Public Safety leadership experience (i.e. Fire Chief). Strong and independent organizational skills. Ability to travel to U.S.-based events. We Value: At least 7 years' experience with US Digital Designs offerings and/or similar low voltage offerings. At least 5 years' experience in DoD/DoW Fire Service in a leadership role (i.e. Fire Chief). College degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered. Experience in government procurement. Experience in standard productivity software suites (Microsoft Office, etc.). Experience working with CRM software - Salesforce is preferred.
