Title: Media Planner

A New York-based integrated advertising agency is looking for a Media Planner to help design and manage cross-channel campaigns for major entertainment, culture, tourism, and live event brands. This role partners closely with the paid media team and reports to the Head of Paid Media.

Location:

NYC (hybrid preferred, open to remote talent for freelance only) Rate:

$28-33 and hour ($55-70k if offered full-time + benefits) Type : Temp-to-perm position

Core Responsibilities

• Build and execute media plans spanning digital video, display, print, out-of-home (OOH), and email channels. • Track day-to-day delivery and performance of online campaigns, making adjustments to improve outcomes. • Develop and send RFPs to media partners; review and compare proposals, and support rate and placement negotiations. • Contribute to client-facing decks, including media recommendations, rationale, and performance readouts. • Leverage campaign management platforms, Google Analytics, and verification tools to interpret data and refine strategy. • Set up and maintain insertion orders and ensure all campaign details are accurate and current. • Maintain and distribute updated creative specifications to internal teams and external partners. • Arrange and coordinate meetings with vendors and manage related logistics. • Regularly research new media opportunities, tools, and approaches relevant to media planning.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2-3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, communications, media planning/buying, or a similar discipline. • Direct, hands-on experience using CM360 Google Campaign Manager and DV360 (required) • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including comfort presenting information to stakeholders. • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and general Office tools. • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, lead pieces of work, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working under deadlines in a high-activity environment. • Highly organized with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and follow-through. • Authentic enthusiasm for advertising and a real interest in theatre, arts, cultural institutions, travel, and tourism. • Skilled at juggling multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
