Are you a driven sales professional with experience in the concrete or construction materials industry? Were looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our Ready-Mix team in Westminster, Colorado (Front Range). If you excel at building strong relationships, turning connections into profitable partnerships, expanding existing accounts, and winning new business, we want to hear from you!

You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through proactive sales calls, project evaluation, and market analysis. You will monitor local market activity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs, ensuring compliance with concrete specifications, and support business growth through effective communication, education, and process improvements.

What you will be doing

Proactively build and strengthen relationships with customers and prospects, identifying market opportunities that align with the sales organizations strategic goals

Develop detailed key account plans that demonstrate customer insight, identify key decision-makers, track project pipelines, and highlight synergies with BURNCOs strategic initiatives

Manage competitive bid processes by reviewing plans and specifications, exploring opportunities for innovation, and reporting outcomes with actionable insights

Drive market share growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing high-potential business opportunities

Monitor and analyze local market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to provide data-driven recommendations that support strategic decisions

Collect and assess territory intelligenceincluding permits, market size, and customer datato inform sales strategies

Collaborate with quality assurance and sales teams to review project specifications and ensure compliance with mix testing requirements

Partner with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to meet customer volume, delivery, and scheduling needs

Stay current on local, county, and state concrete specifications and requirements

Deliver presentations to educate customers on concrete production and quality management

Resolve customer issues promptly and recommend process improvements based on feedback

Adhere to company policies and complete accurate, timely reports as required

What we would like from you

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the concrete industry, preferably in a sales role

Diploma or undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Sales, or Engineering

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information to various stakeholders

Proven passion for customer service and a high standard of service delivery as demonstrated through the ability to successfully acquire new accounts and execute a sales plan

Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to successfully manage priorities in a timely manner

Existing network of concrete / ready mix contractors would be considered an asset, as well as a network of architects and engineers

Proficient understanding of sustainability and low carbon initiatives

Location and other key details:

This is a full-time permanent field-based position

The hours of work will be Monday to Saturday, totaling 40 or more hours per week

Travel to various job sites will be required

Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
