Purpose: Provides excellent service to our members. Processes member's transactions in an accurate and efficient manner. Essential Functions: Perform transactions on member's accounts, i.e., transferring member funds between accounts, making loan payments, visa payments, check withdrawals, handling cash, etc. Troubleshoot member problems. Record and post night deposit. Place stop payments, order checks, order check copies, make statement copies, take in plastic card orders. Buy and sell cash from vault. Redeem US Savings Bonds Miscellaneous filing Keep the lobby stocked and clean. Post incoming mail i.e., member deposits and loan payments; interest checks; payrolls, etc. Perform address changes and contact information Balance cash drawers and teller work at end of day Open branch (i.e., turn on lights; unlock vault; record cashier's checks; prepare money orders; etc.) Close branch (i.e., putting daily work away, putting credit union checks in numerical order and running a tape, turning off lights, etc.) Greet members pleasantly and professionally and direct them to the appropriate place or person. Cross-sell all services to meet member's needs and assist in meeting credit union goals. Promote and maintain a positive image of the credit union. Maintain knowledge of all regulations and CFCU's policies and procedures Answer all overflow telephone calls from all offices. This involves answering various member inquiries that deal with account and loan information. Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor, informing them of ideas and suggestions. Assist with new account opening. Other duties assigned. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel: No travel is expected for this position.
