
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees across assigned departments. This role focuses heavily on employee relations while also partnering with internal HR teams to deliver consistent, people-centered HR solutions aligned with organizational goals. The HRBP will act as a trusted resource to leadership, supporting performance management, engagement initiatives, and workforce planning. Key responsibilities include: Act as a primary HR partner for assigned teams, developing a strong understanding of departmental goals, culture, and workforce needs Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance, engagement, and workplace concerns Serve as an advisor to leaders on employee relations matters, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions in partnership with HR leadership Support workforce planning, staffing discussions, and role development initiatives Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Benefits teams to deliver integrated HR support Assist with personnel actions, policy interpretation, leave management, and compliance guidance Maintain working knowledge of employment laws and ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations Provide backup support to other HR Business Partners as needed Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications include: 6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 34 years focused on employee relations Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic advisor to managers and department leaders Experience supporting mid-sized organizations (approximately 300700 employees preferred) Ability to manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday or similar HRIS strongly preferred Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus Additional details include: Contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance and business needs Anticipated contract duration: approximately 6 months Start date: ASAP Hybrid work environment (23 days onsite per week) Perks include: Hybrid flexibility Supportive and collaborative HR team environment Opportunity to partner closely with leadership and make meaningful impact Mission-driven organization with a strong people-first culture Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
