Boutique law firm in Howard County, Maryland seeks a full-time transactional paralegal to assist with banking & finance, commercial real estate and general corporate matters. The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a legal setting.
Requirements & Qualifications
Work experience of 3-5 years minimum in a law firm setting
Hands-on experience drafting commercial loan documents, commercial leases, commercial real estate contracts, business formation documents and general corporate documents
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
Proficiency with MS Office 365, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for client workflow process
Drafting, editing, proof-reading commercial loan documents, commercial leases, commercial real estate contracts, business formation documents and general corporate documents
Correspondence with clients and business colleagues
Scanning and filing of electronic and paper-based documents in network environment and cloud storage
Maintaining a proactive role in implementing firm-wide best practices
