Position Summary: The REO (Real Estate Owned) Analyst will provide critical underwriting, valuation, and administrative support throughout the eviction, pre-marketing, and closing processes for REO assets. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical ability, accuracy in valuation and invoicing, a solid understanding of REO timelines, and clear communication skills with internal stakeholders, brokers, and service vendors. This is non-exempt role reporting to the Vice President of REO Servicing at Renovo Financial.

Responsibilities:

Support eviction and pre-marketing activities, coordinating with legal counsel and field vendors

Assist in the REO closing process, ensuring all documentation and payments are complete

Order and review valuations/appraisals to support pricing decisions

Process invoices from vendors and ensure accurate coding and payment

Maintain comprehensive records of REO activity, deadlines, and stakeholder communications

Provide administrative support to REO and Conveyance teams as needed

Collaborate with default and servicing teams to transition assets efficiently

Perform quality control to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and investor requirements

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Understanding of eviction processes, REO timelines, and closing procedures

Strong analytical and financial skills; familiarity with valuations and vendor invoicing

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication, internal coordinators, attorneys, vendors, property managers

Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook; experience with REO/asset management systems preferred

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s/bachelor’s degree preferred
