We are growing and would like to welcome a new colleague in as a Customer Service Representative in our Winchester, Virginia, location that can strategically help us to achieve our company goals for future success.

Responsibilities

Establishes, builds, and improves customer relationships through the inquiry process.

Provide accurate and timely communication to customers on price quotes, order status, expedited order requests, and any issues with an order with alternative solutions.

Liaise between our customers and our Engineering Department regarding technical issues.

Analyzes purchase orders to ensure compliance with quotations, order specifications, payment terms, shipping method, and other business requirements.

Research delivery and/or invoicing issues or discrepancies.

Request credit applications for new customers.

Communicate with customers when there is a problem or delay with their quote or order.

Accurately documents call transactions.

Must be able to work extended hours during the work week as needed.

Requirements

Ability to learn technical product knowledge in a custom, made-to-order high complexity production environment.

Ability to interact well with people, build strong rapport, establish trust and credibility.

Ability to continually develop relationships with customers and other departments within the organization.

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a continuously changing, fast-paced environment.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.

Strong customer service aptitude interacting with both internal and external customers, in person, on the telephone, via video and email.

Deals effectively with others in difficult situations, using appropriate interpersonal styles, and methods to reduce tension or conflict.

Establishes or follows proper courses of action to ensure that work produced is completed efficiently and on time/within proper time limits.

Recognizes need for procedures and suggests changes to or generates new procedures to streamline workflow.

Schedule This is a Monday through Friday dayshift position.

Work Location In-Person Position based out of the Winchester, Virginia, Location.
