
Overview
We’re looking for a
motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant
to join our team. This
full-time, on-site role
is perfect for entry-level candidates eager to gain
hands-on experience in PR, event coordination, and communications

What You’ll Do
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing
public events, media opportunities, and community outreach programs
Represent the organization at community events —greet attendees, provide accurate information, and collect feedback
Collaborate with internal teams
to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels
Support post-event follow-up
including contact updates, summary reports, and data tracking
Contribute to community engagement strategies
and help maintain a positive public image

Comfortable speaking to small groups and engaging with
diverse audiences
Excellent
organizational skills
and attention to detail
Friendly, professional, and dependable with a

community service, public relations, and nonprofit communications
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
is a plus but not required
