Summary (Role) Handles mapping and reporting processes related to One Call Ticket processing. Helps with systematic failed responses in the IRTH One Call system. Gathers data and documentation for 3rd party damages. Liaison between the field and GIS Centerline Group to update and correct any inconsistencies.
Responsibilities
Create and deliver detailed reporting out of the IRTH program.
Review and maintain detailed knowledge of the One Call laws for all of the states
Analyze the IRTH system and diagnose issues.
Take appropriate steps to correct errors concerning centerline data
Work as the liaison between the Field and the map data group
Make recommendations for future upgrades on the program
Occasional representation of company information to outside agencies
Back up for one call process
General projects as required by Manager
Requirements Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of GIS and mapping processes
Detailed knowledge of One Call processes / IRTH System
Understand how to create and deliver detailed buffer maps for one call process
Ability to communicate detailed information
Proficient at computer programs, ability to multi-task and adapt to change quickly
Have an understanding of company policy for one call activities
ARC GIS knowledge
Pivot table and Power BI knowledge
Ability to create training material and train field personnel
Software Knowledge: Microsoft package, IRTH, Remote Control Packages (Teams), Power BI
Experience Required Experience Is Commensurate With The Selected Job Level
The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
Working Conditions
Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
