About The Role Join Mark VII Equipment Inc. (WashTec Group), North America's leading car wash system manufacturer, as a remote Chemical Sales Representative. This role drives revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle: generating new business through cold calling, serving as the primary account expert, and strengthening existing client relationships. Responsibilities require market knowledge, strategic proposal development, and the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional focused on customer success.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact, expert, and customer advocate for both existing and new accounts, internally and externally.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.

Continuously engage in cold calling to generate new business opportunities.

Collaborate with the team to develop proposals that align with company and client goals.

Present new products and services to enhance existing customer relationships.

Share best practices to help grow customer businesses, build trust, and strengthen relationships.

Ensure smooth and timely customer onboarding and submit finalized contracts to the accounting department.

Address and resolve issues or billing inquiries with Mark VII Chemical and customer support teams.

Develop and maintain a knowledge base of relevant information on chemical products, market trends, and competition to share with accounts.

Maintain deep expertise in the car wash chemical industry.

Qualifications

Establish relationships with car wash operators and convenience store decision makers. Experience cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales.

Understanding of the chemical industry, including key players, market trends and regulatory environments.

2+ years of experience with chemical applications and various chemical products.

Strong understanding of chemical usage and cost per application.

Mechanical aptitude and deep understanding of chemical delivery systems and installation.

Strong knowledge of business plans, budgeting and developing strategies for market penetration.

Established relationships in the convenience store and retail petroleum marketplace.

Understanding of financial reports, including contribution margins, profit and loss statements, budgeting and ROI calculations.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work autonomously.

Critical thinker and problem solver.

Basic understanding of pricing and margin concepts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend documents.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
