Job Summary We’re looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our Small Business Sales team. This role focuses on acquiring new small business customers, helping them identify the right technological solutions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Once the account is established, it will be transitioned to our Customer Success team for long-term relationship management.
What you will do
Prospect & Qualify: Identify and engage small business leads through outbound efforts, networking, and digital channels.
Consult & Sell: Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals that deliver value.
Onboard & Transition: Guide new clients through onboarding and hand off to the Customer Success team for ongoing support.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
Track & Report: Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and handoff timelines.
Success Metrics
Number of new small business accounts acquired
Lead-to-customer conversion rate
Time-to-close and onboarding efficiency
Quality of handoff and client satisfaction scores
What we expect of you
2+ years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the small business segment
Proven success in new customer acquisition
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Familiarity with small business operations and challenges
Experience with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
Ability to work cross-functionally with onboarding and success teams in addition to external OEM partners
