Clinical Account Specialist – Dermatology – Greenville, SC
Make your mark for patients by strengthening our Dermatology Sales Team. The Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) drives demand for dermatology products in the assigned territory, engaging clinicians and support staff to improve patient outcomes.
About the role
Develop a deep understanding of the patient journey and ensure therapies reach patients.
Communicate clinical information on dermatology products and patient support services to health‑care professionals and staff.
Build relationships within the local health care ecosystem, including payors.
Collaborate with the UCB Patient Value Team and maintain compliance with UCB policies and approved messaging.
What you’ll do
Own responsibility for attaining territory sales goals through effective territory planning and HCP engagement.
Analyze territory data to build adaptive customer call plans.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace and prescriber drivers.
Conduct account‑related activities such as profiling, call planning, and reviewing sales data.
Make strategic decisions on resource allocation, including samples and access opportunities.
Coordinate promotional educational opportunities to expand medical stakeholder knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
Minimum 3 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry.
Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
Must reside within the assigned geography.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in relevant sectors.
Experience calling on dermatologists in the assigned geography.
Experience selling injectable biologics products.
Proven track record of goal attainment and awards (e.g., President’s Club).
Biologic product launch experience.
Strategic planning skills and adaptability to changing market conditions.
Understanding of managed care landscape impact on business.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Salary and Benefits Base salary range: $128,000–$168,000 per year, adjusted for internal equity and geographic factors.
