$90,000-$100,000+ Base Salary plus bonus
Overview
We are seeking an exceptional career Client Associate to provide operational and relational support for a growing independent wealth management practice serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families. This role requires judgment, discretion, operational rigor, and the ability to operate independently in a founder-led environment.
This individual will partner closely with the Founder during and after a significant business transition and will play a critical role in delivering a seamless, white-glove experience to clients. The ideal candidate blends operational excellence, emotional intelligence, and proactive ownership - the kind of person clients ask for by name.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering a warm, professional, and highly personalized service experience
Build long-term client relationships rooted in trust, consistency, and genuine care (remembering families, life events, preferences, and priorities)
Proactively communicate with clients regarding account activity, paperwork status, follow-ups, and next steps
Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare materials, and ensure all client interactions are smooth and well-prepared
Operations & Account Administration: Open, transfer, and maintain client accounts with accuracy and urgency
Handle money movement requests, distributions, beneficiary updates, and account maintenance
Monitor and resolve account discrepancies, variances, and operational issues before they escalate
Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with compliance and firm standards
Compliance & Risk Awareness: Support compliance processes through recordkeeping and coordination with external providers
Assist with audit preparation and regulatory documentation requests
Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion at all times
What This Role Is Not
Investment decision-making or portfolio management
Trading authority
Compliance interpretation or regulatory sign-off
Firm-level strategic or vendor decisions
Ideal Candidate Profile
7–15+ years of experience as a Client Associate, Client Service Manager, or similar role in wealth management
Experience working in high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth client environments
Strong operational background with deep understanding of brokerage, RIA, or custodial platforms
Strong familiarity with custodial platforms (Fidelity, Pershing, Goldman/ GSAS preferred)
Naturally relational, empathetic, and client-centered - not transactional
Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Comfortable operating with autonomy and ownership in a founder-led environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000+ (top of market for the right candidate)
Total Compensation Potential: $100,000 – $120,000+ (base + bonus/variable compensation)
