Job Summary As a
Sales Counselor
at Autograph Homes, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them find the perfect home or homesite to meet their unique needs. Your role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless sales process. Through remarkable communication skills, genuine engagement, and a passion for customer service, you will guide potential buyers through the purchasing process and set them on a path to fall in love with their new Autograph Home.
Key Responsibilities From start to finish, you will be our customers’ key point of contact on their homebuying journey, ensuring they are 100% happy every step of the way.
The details will include (and are not limited to):
Learning a solid understanding of the Autograph Homes DNA, what we build, where we build and what the local market areas are all about – schools, parks/amenities, shopping
Owning and updating a competitive analysis of surrounding communities and offerings by competitive builders, and how we stack up against them
Generating interest and exploration of our homes (traffic) and partner with our online sales team to drive online lead conversion to in-person visits
Collaborate with the marketing team on events and other ideas to generate interest and traffic
Maintaining our online presence both on our own website and other sites like HAR.com
Tracking customer data and inputs to our Lead Management System, sharing insights from this with company leadership so we can continue to evolve our home plans for what people want
Proactively manage the supply and sales of our available quick move-in homes
Managing and curating a great community and model home experience, working with our designers and others
Hosting tours of our model homes, plans, and the community lifestyle our buyers will enjoy
Preparing and presenting purchase and sale agreements and facilitating the mortgage qualification process with our preferred lenders, or others as the customer may want, including tracking loans to closing, and providing comps and other documentation as needed
Partnering with our design studio team to help them give each of our buyers a fun and personalized experience
Showing up with ideas and energy in our weekly sales meetings and taking pride in the importance of your role to our business.
Partner closely with online Sales Counselors through regular contact and attendance at sales meetings.
Work with the Marketing team to ensure accurate online information and assist with internet-related marketing initiatives.
Initiate and maintain email drip/nurture campaigns via
Brix CRM
to sustain lead engagement.
Market Awareness & Continuous Learning
Stay informed about local and national market trends, regulations, and economic factors impacting the home-buying industry.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Exceptional Customer Experience
Ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence, leaving a lasting positive impression.
Qualifications
Outstanding phone, written, and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 3 years High Investment Sales experience.
Experience with CRM tools (preferably
Brix CRM ) and lead management.
Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective buyers and realtors.
Knowledge of the home-buying process, local markets, and community features is a plus.
Ability to multitask, prioritize leads, and manage time effectively.
Will be required to work weekends.
Driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
