
Overview
The Manager Sales FP&A is responsible for providing financial and business support for the sales function. This role is a key contributor to initiatives and processes owned by the FP&A team. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with SaaS metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is required. A proactive approach to automation, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are critical to success. Based in New York City, this role will work out of the New York HQ on a full-time basis and will be a key business and financial partner to the CRO and CEO.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with sales on business, strategic and financial matters
Utilize business and financial knowledge along with interpersonal skills to influence, challenge, and drive change within the sales organization
Work closely with the revenue operations team on sales forecasting while leveraging Salesforce to help improve the forecasting
Support, analyze and help define the sales commission process
Own and drive the analysis, forecasting and reporting of key SaaS metrics such as ACV, ARR, Gross/Net retention and other top-line and sales efficiency metrics
Prepare PowerPoint slide decks for monthly and quarterly reviews, budget/forecast meetings, and other high-level meetings
Complete ad-hoc analytics and information requests from sales leadership
Assist with loading forecast updates into Adaptive Planning, the forecasting software
Be proactive with automation opportunities in current processes
Take large amounts of sales data and create insightful sales dashboards in Tableau and Data Studio
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience, preferably with direct Sales FP&A support in Enterprise SaaS and software companies
BA/BSc degree in finance, accounting and/or business
Strong knowledge of key SaaS metrics (ARR, ACV, Gross/Net retention, LTV/CAC) and ability to model and forecast them
Strong executive presence with high energy and excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience supporting C-Level executives
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior management direction and drive decisions with insights and data
Strong Excel and systems skills with preference for Salesforce CRM, Adaptive, Tableau, Clari, Netsuite and CPQ
New York location required
