
The Account Manager is a vital part of the account team and plays an important role in supporting client relationships and helping drive the business forward. In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Supervisors and Directors to help bring strategy to life, keep work moving forward, and ensure clients feel heard, supported, and confident in the work we deliver. You’re comfortable juggling details while learning to connect the dots. Primary Responsibilities Account Team Support
Support Account Supervisors and Directors on assigned accounts by helping manage day-to-day client communication, timelines, and deliverables
Maintain a regular, clear flow of information between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment
Communicate professionally with clients regarding expectations, timelines, and scope, escalating sensitive issues as needed
Help ensure work remains aligned with approved scope, priorities, and deadlines
Client Management
Manage a select group of smaller or emerging clients with guidance from senior account leadership
Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for these accounts, building trust and strong working relationships
Track scope, budgets, and timelines, and learn to identify opportunities for account growth and added value
Support the development of proposals, scopes of work, and estimates in collaboration with internal teams
Contribute research, writing, and coordination to new business efforts
Assist with writing and editing creative briefs, proposals, and case studies
Participate in client and new business presentations as appropriate
Internal Collaboration & Operations
Work closely with Project Management to open jobs, develop estimates, track budgets, and support workflow planning
Assist with financial accuracy by supporting billing, invoice review, and client approvals
Collaborate with internal teams across Creative, Strategy, Media, Production, and Web to ensure high-quality deliverables
Work with team members at all levels, including senior leadership
Strategy & Performance Support
Build a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and competitive landscapes
Assist with campaign planning, goal-setting, and KPI development
Review performance reporting and contribute observations and insights to inform strategic recommendations
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in an agency or similar environment, ideally in an Account Coordinator, Account Executive, or Account Manager role
Experience supporting client relationships and working with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Foundational financial acumen to effectively work with budgets, estimates, and scopes of work
Collaborative, proactive, and eager-to-learn mindset
