
Overview
Job Summary: Build and lead a sales team by being accountable to and delivering on Activity-based Sales Goals. Convert sales leads into clients through a process of analyzing customers' needs, submitting job proposals for customer review, closing the sale, facilitating successful customer transition from sales to production, writing and facilitating change orders, and ensuring referral source retention and customer satisfaction via quality control process. Facilitate collection of deposits and final balances.
Responsibilities
Sales leadership: Produce your own sales that meet gross profit margin objectives and lead a team that does the same.
Coordinate the sales process to ensure service and quality objectives are fulfilled.
Help manage the customers’ experience with the company and its employees.
As a member of the Leadership Team, assist with interdepartmental coordination and building and executing on executive Rocks & Scorecard.
Ensure all sales estimates reflect scope of work required by the customer.
Ensure sales goals are achieved.
Ensure estimates are written to achieve company gross profit goals.
Ensure necessary briefing with the assigned Project Manager and Production team is completed for each job sold.
Ensure all sales paperwork is organized and job progress is maintained to meet management and customer expectations.
Ensure company-adopted customer service principles are understood and implemented through the sales processes.
Ensure all customers are satisfied with services performed.
Ensure all incoming calls related to sales activities are responded to promptly and followed up.
Ensure all authorizations are obtained prior to work beginning and proper procedures are followed when funds should be collected on jobs.
Qualifications
Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance with a commercial use rider. Must also have a reliable vehicle.
Minimum of three years experience in the position of Sales Manager, Sales and/or Estimator for a company of comparable size or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills, including ability to present and speak in public.
Ability to exercise integrity, think strategically, and make sound decisions.
Ability to lead, manage, and be accountable for a vibrant culture of accountability and excellence within the sales team.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret job estimates and reports.
Advanced computer skills including software, hardware, programs, and applications.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, gross margin, commissions, and percentages; basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to read and interpret documents; map reading, safety rules, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak English effectively with customers, employees, or the public.

This is a Base+ position. Salary + Commission DOE
