We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of successful sales management, and a deep understanding of outside sales strategies. The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing effective sales activities within the assigned area and ensuring the execution of agreed-upon sales strategies. These strategies will be implemented with the aim of fostering strong relationships with clients and meeting their needs while increasing revenue generation for the area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the execution and implementation of the organization's sales strategy in the region/ area, selling bagged cement products.

Cement Products are defined as White and Gray Masonry Cement Type N and S, and White and Gray Portland Cement Type I/II. Other products could be included in the future.

Primary distributors would consist of brick distributors and manufacturers, stone distributors, concrete block distributors and manufacturers, stucco distributors, and masonry supply houses.

Secondary distributors would consist of lumber yards, pool distributors, and utility contractor supply stores.

Develop and implement approved sales plans, identify new customers, and achieve targets for sales, collections, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Prepare an annual budget for the assigned area and ensure implementation of the approved budget.

Proactively identify and report on revenue streams and customer needs to maximize revenue for the organization and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Build and maintain ethical and strong relationships with key customers and accounts in assigned areas consistent with the company's image and goals.

Fulfill customer needs and assist with problem-solving as needed.

Conduct regular visits to outlets in the area to ensure service levels are in accordance with the organization's standards and that hindrances to optimal performance are identified and reported.

Prepare sales activity, financial, and performance reports.

Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are a plus.

Proven sales experience in construction, cement, or building materials with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Experience in the cement, building materials, or construction materials industry.

Proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies and scale revenues across multiple business units or regions.

Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed.

A valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and reliable transportation.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales work experience.
