SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Outside Salesperson will work with clients to provide a successful customer experience. The Outside Salesperson will generate sales of all products. Will work with existing customers and secure prospective new customers and clients by phone, e-mail and direct office appointments providing detailed information on product specifications, services, pricing and delivery and install scheduling. Will focus on builders, designers, remodelers, as well as retail customers. Will also represent Construction Resources at NKBA, NARI, and various HBA events.
Outside Sales Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Provide excellent sales support and customer experience to all accounts
Conduct sales presentation of products and services to customers
Develop and maintain relationships with all accounts
Employee acknowledges that if the account desires another local sales representative or a change in sales representatives, Construction Resources has the obligation to meet the clients’ request
Visit jobsites as needed to provide the required sales support
Communicate lead times and work with scheduling changes
Attend training functions as required
Participate in sales meetings as required
Collect deposits and balances before delivery
Follow up phone calls to secure orders
Participate in after hour events and sponsorships as required
Resolve customer issues
Generate and develop new customer business accounts to increase revenue at a profitable level
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
Assist in collections as necessary
