Overview Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour with commission opportunity

Our Bassett Design Consultants are responsible for building meaningful and long-term customer relationships. They have comprehensive knowledge ranging from furniture construction to design trends. They use “relationship selling” techniques through interior design consultations and makeovers to maximize selling opportunities. Our design consultants take joy in the design process!

Schedule and Compensation

FULL TIME Schedule with a starting hourly rate between $22.00-$24.00/hour

ADDITIONAL commission compensation, including additional compensation for In Home Design Consulting

Consistent work schedule including 3 days off every other week

Attractive Retail Store hours: Open 11-6 every day

Friendly and positive work environment with supportive management team

Sales averages of $70,000 monthly generates an annual income of about $67,000

Responsibilities Responsibilities include building meaningful customer relationships, applying relationship selling techniques during interior design consultations and makeovers, and guiding customers through design processes to maximize selling opportunities.

Qualifications

Passion for design and fashion

Driven to meet or exceed sales goals

Discern and coordinate colors and textures for in-style looks and trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly outgoing personality

Computer proficient and experience with space planning

Desire to learn

Sales Experience

Career-minded professionalism

Ability to listen and translate customer wants into design choices

Desire to work in a commissioned sales environment

Capable of thriving in varied paced retail environment

Ability to drive to customers’ residences and businesses for makeovers

Creating, presenting, and selling product and design solutions

Engaging customers to determine their needs according to taste, lifestyle, and investment range
