A manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical / Structural designer to add to their growing team in Topeka, KS! This position is responsible for producing detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and production documentation that support medium to large-scale manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting and modeling skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in translating architectural and engineering designs into manufacturable solutions. Develop accurate 3D models and shop drawings based on design documentation or reference drawings from internal teams and external stakeholders. Generate precise plans, sections, and details derived from 3D models or architectural drawings. Ensure all drawings are fully annotated, dimensioned, and aligned with the company's design standards and manufacturing practices. Manage large drawing sets, including handling revisions, markups, and project-specific documentation. Convert digital drawings into various formats and provide paper plot outputs as needed for production or field use. Create 3D renderings or visualizations to support marketing initiatives or client presentations as required. Compensation
