ABQ Flooring Solutions is hiring a

Part-Time Flooring Sales Specialist (Commission Only)

to join our growing team in

Tampa, FL . This is an in-the-field position—ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients and is confident presenting quotes and closing sales. You will drive to appointments, assist customers with flooring selections, and build quotes on-site. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to consultations. We also provide access to a

service van stocked with flooring samples

to support the sales process. Responsibilities

Drive to in-home and commercial flooring consultations Measure homes and job sites accurately for

carpet, LVP, tile, hardwood, and rubber flooring Guide customers through flooring options, product selection, and installation recommendations Provide expert flooring advice and support during consultations Build and present quotes at the appointment Collect deposits and assist with next steps Follow up with customers to ensure a smooth and positive project experience Complete final job walkthroughs with the customer after installation Compensation

This is a

commission-based position only

(no hourly wage or salary). Commission is structured as follows: 15% commission

on any leads generated independently by the Sales Specialist (self-sourced leads) A

sliding scale commission of 6%–10%

on leads and appointments provided by ABQ Flooring Solutions Commission percentage is determined by the

profit margin

the job is sold at ( higher margin = higher commission ) Commission is paid per closed job based on the finalized project total. Qualifications

Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships Knowledge of flooring products, home improvement, or related industries with strong attention to detail Ability to prepare accurate product and installation quotes Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple appointments and customers Comfortable using technology and sales software (experience with
