The Team
The Agent Services team is a Syndicated Loans Agency operations team that performs all operational tasks to support both the borrower and lenders. Acting as an agent requires accuracy and an understanding of complex deal mechanics.
About the Role S&P Global is seeking a motivated Specialist for Agent Services to work within the team administering the lending portfolios for our client base. The individual will be responsible for the lifecycle events of the deals, communicating with our clients, their borrowers, and the lending syndicate members. Additional responsibilities include partnering with other S&P Global business lines to drive progress of the regions to support the global operating model and local client base.

Responsibilities
Execute operational requirements to manage the lifecycle events of a syndicated loan.
Support more junior members of staff with any complexities within the deal/portfolio.
Interpret underlying legal documents to ensure the deal and its members are managed in compliance with the terms.
Answer client, borrower, and lender queries promptly.
Perform financial analysis of deals to ensure accruals and pricing mechanics are correct.
Manage outstanding work items in line with expected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize operational risk within the lending portfolio.
Compensation & Benefits Basesalary range: $45,790.00 to $75,422.50. Final base salary will be based on geographic location and experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. Role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
Qualifications
BA or BS or equivalent experience.
1 year+ of relative business experience.
Customer relations experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Analytical with good problem-solving initiative.
Team collaboration mindset.
Microsoft Excel experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Banking or investment industry experience.
S&P Market Intelligence product suite knowledge (WSO, iLevel, Thinkfolio, EDM).
Syndicated Loan experience.
