Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Specialist to join our D2C E-commerce team in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning e-commerce processes (including platform migration) and operations, managing and optimizing our online sales channels, driving growth in digital revenue, and enhancing the customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the German e-commerce market, and tech stack, including main CMS system, and digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize our e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), ensuring a seamless user experience for German customers.

Drive Shopify + migration as process and project owner during the whole phase of the transition, including coordination of UAT and test cases

Develop and implement online marketing strategies, including close collaboration with SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and social media teams tailored to the German market.

Monitor website analytics and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Coordinate with internal teams (Consumer Marketing Teams and EMEA D2C team) to ensure accurate product listings, inventory management, and timely order fulfilment.

Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay ahead of industry trends in Germany.

Optimize product descriptions, images, and pricing strategies for the German audience.

Ensure compliance with German e-commerce regulations, including data privacy (GDPR) and consumer protection laws.

Collaborate closely with Consumer Marketing lead for Central Europe, paid media, SEO team to ensure alignment on campaigns, content implementation and product launches

Report on KPIs and provide actionable insights to E-commerce lead

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field

Proven experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably in the German market

Fluency in German and English; excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, processes and online payment systems, and digital marketing tools

Analytical mindset with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Knowledge of German e-commerce regulations and best practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experience with online marketplaces popular in Germany (e.g., Amazon.de, eBay.de, Otto)

Knowledge of German consumer trends and preferences

Familiarity with Medtech healthcare arenas

Basic graphic design skills or experience with content management systems
