Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end email and SMS strategy to drive measurable business impact and improve how we communicate with our fans at scale
Serve as the subject matter expert for email and SMS best practices, deliverability, accessibility, and regulatory compliance
Oversee planning, creation, QA, and deployment of all email and SMS campaigns and automated journeys
Translate organizational priorities into a clear fan communication roadmap, balancing campaigns, automation, and testing
Partner with internal teams to ensure messaging and design is clear, compelling, and on-brand
Work cross functionally to drive segmentation, personalization, and content improvements, as well as deliver cohesive omnichannel experiences
Continuously test and optimize email content, timing, cadence, and templates to improve performance
Build and maintain clear reporting dashboards to communicate performance and impact to stakeholders
Use performance insights to inform strategy, experimentation, and cross-channel coordination
Qualifications
5‑7 years of experience in email or database communications experience
Deep expertise with ESPs, CDPs, and marketing automation platforms
Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, deliverability, and lifecycle strategy
Proven ability to use data to inform decisions and demonstrate business impact.
Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation at scale
Strong written communication skills
Knowledge of Google Suite products
Willingness and ability to travel onsite as needed, approximately once per year
Legal authorization to work in the United States
This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $58,000 to $78,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
