Fueling Success in this Role:
VP Racing is looking for a
Media Editor
who is responsible for developing clear, compelling, and on‑brand copy across a variety of marketing and digital channels. This role focuses primarily on copywriting for advertising, website and SEO content, promotions, email and SMS campaigns, and sales collateral, supporting marketing initiatives and brand consistency. This position also provides limited support to public relations and media outreach efforts, including drafting press releases and assisting with media communications as needed. The role works cross‑functionally to ensure messaging is aligned, effective, and optimized across platforms.
A portfolio or samples of relevant work are required as part of the application process.
What you'll do:
Capture, edit, and produce video content for marketing campaigns, product features, events, social media, and internal use
Shoot and edit photography for digital, print, e‑commerce, and promotional materials
Develop short‑form and long‑form video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to plan and execute creative content aligned with brand strategy
Manage media assets, including organizing, tagging, and maintaining photo and video libraries
Support live and on‑site shoots at events, race weekends, product launches, and company initiatives
Ensure all media content aligns with VP Racing brand standards, visual identity, and messaging
Assist with motion graphics, captions, and visual enhancements as needed
Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment

Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:
Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, Marketing, or related field and at least two (2) years of experience in video production, photography, or digital content creation; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience working with consumer brands, motorsports, lifestyle, or product‑driven companies is a plus
