About the Role We\'re seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to drive our social media presence and community engagement initiatives across our executive education portfolio. This role spans both B2B (corporate partnerships, executive audiences) and B2C (individual program participants) contexts, requiring a high level of business acumen and the ability to craft compelling narratives for professional audiences. Reports to: Sr Director, Marketing Location & Schedule: This position is hybrid with typical working hours between 9:00 am–5:30 pm, PT. Regular on-site program and participant engagement, photo and video production, and various team and organization-wide meetings will take place throughout the year at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. Key Responsibilities: Organic Social Media Management (40%) Develop and execute multi-channel social strategies targeting business professionals of various levels including managers, directors, and senior executives In partnership with the Content Marketing Manager, develop and manage a social media content calendar featuring thought leadership content highlighting business and industry trends and insights, faculty expertise, participant experience, and program impact In partnership with the Content Marketing Manager and Designer, produce and distribute a variety of written, visual, audio, and video content including interviews, fact sheets, whitepapers, case studies, program highlights, and alumni success stories Monitor and report on content performance to uncover new insights and inform content creation efforts Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and industry discussions Maintain brand standards, including tone and voice, and protect Exec Ed’s academic credibility while also ensuring engagement Paid Social Media (25%) Collaborate with paid media team on brand initiatives, targeted campaigns for open enrollment programs, and outreach and engagement with custom programming prospects Help develop and launch unique strategies for target accounts (B2B) and individual participants (B2C) Review ad copy and creative to ensure brand alignment and appropriate positioning for Exec Ed audiences In partnership with the paid media team, develop strategic post boosting strategies that compliment paid efforts to help reach individuals and B2B decision-makers Manage brand and program-specific promotion schedules, review campaign performance, and collaborate with Exec Ed Marketing team and paid media team to optimize performance Track KPIs and report on ROI across B2B and B2C campaigns Exec Ed Alumni Community Engagement (10%) Develop engagement strategies to re-energize and activate our global Exec Ed alumni network to nurture positive word of mouth and increase alumni referrals and repeat purchases Create or repurpose and distribute content tailored to our alumni communities Foster conversations throughout our alumni network to improve engagement and perceived value Help identify engaged alumni in leadership positions for the Manager of Community & Sales Engagement to facilitate group and custom sales opportunities Media Planning & Campaign Management (15%) In partnership with the paid media team and the Sr. Director of Marketing, develop quarterly paid media plans aligned with business cycles Coordinate with paid media team on budget allocation and optimization Manage approval workflows for creative assets and ad copy Monitor campaign pacing and performance Maintain paid media calendar and documentation Production & Project Management (10%) Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate the work of the marketing team including leadership, operations, growth, product, and delivery teams; faculty members and guest speakers; and agency partners and external vendors Create and execute project plans that ensures the efficient production of content that aligns with creative briefs—on time and on budget Performs other duties as needed Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field and/or 5+ years of professional social media management experience, including B2B content creation Strong business writing and editorial skills Demonstrable success using established, new, and/or emerging social channels to engage audiences, increase brand awareness, and drive consideration Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), YouTube, TikTok, and X for paid and organic engagement, knowledge of other channels like Reddit Extensive knowledge of social media best practices Experience using tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Hubspot for a variety of tasks including image and video editing, content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting Knowledge of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics a plus Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-production/high-quality standards Leadership and project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with product management software such as Asana, Basecamp, ActiveCollab, Wrike, or Jira Knowledge of the executive education landscape and experience tailoring messaging to corporate clients, a plus Salary & Benefits:

Berkeley Executive Education offers competitive salaries, an annual discretionary bonus, and a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, vacation leave, sick leave, and 17 paid holidays. To give our employees flexibility, Berkeley Exec Ed is a hybrid work environment. The base salary range is $70,000 - 78,000 with a potential for an annual bonus. How to apply:
