Racine Country Club is seeking a motivated, energetic Associate Golf Professional with a strong background in business operations, leadership, and service management to join our team for the 2026 golf season - running through
November .
This is an opportunity to be part of one of Wisconsin’s premier private clubs in a role that goes beyond traditional golf duties. Working alongside the Director of Golf, you will help lead day-to-day golf operations, oversee service delivery, support revenue and program execution, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our golf and member experience. We are specifically looking for candidates who bring operational discipline, organizational skills, and a business-focused mindset to golf operations.
This position is
seasonal through November , but depending on individual performance and the Club’s business needs, it
has the potential to become a permanent role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Open and close the golf shop with professionalism and precision
Support the Director of Golf in managing outside operations and upholding high service standards
Assist with inventory control, special orders, retail displays, and golf shop sales
Greet and check in Members, manage pace of play, and ensure smooth daily operations
Help plan and execute tournaments and events - from logistics to scoring to prize distribution
Oversee the golf cart fleet, practice facility, and club storage area
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless golf experiences across the club
Represent RCC with professionalism and pride
What We’re Looking For Golf experience is welcome but not required. We are primarily seeking candidates with strong operational discipline, organizational ability, and a member-service mindset:
Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced service environment
Demonstrated ability to manage daily operations, priorities, and workflows
Experience coordinating schedules, events, leagues, or programs is a plus
Comfort working with POS systems, tee sheets, spreadsheets, and operational reports
Service-first mindset with the ability to handle member requests and resolve issues professionally
Reliable, detail-oriented, and accountable for follow-through
Ability to lead by example and support staff and teammates during busy periods
Clear communicator with both members and staff
Willingness to learn golf operations, rules, and tournament formats if not already familiar
Flexible availability, including weekends and peak-season hours
Education & Experience
A degree in business, hospitality, or related field is a plus - current students are encouraged to apply!
Ideal for college students or recent grads seeking a hands-on, golf-focused summer/fall job
Previous golf course or pro shop experience is helpful but not required - we’ll train the right candidate!
