If yes, then as a
Health Information/Medical Records Director
you will:
As our
Health Information/Medical Records Director
you will have responsibility for the initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility and report to the administrator.
Must have:
2-4 years’ previous experience in medical records
High school diploma or equivalent
Supervisory skills to delegate, resolve conflict and respect diversity
Must have knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
Knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures
Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ICD coding
Supervisory experience
Willingness to work beyond working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
Experience with PointClickCare
