Overview As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will drive cross‑portfolio customer outcomes by synthesizing data from multiple sources and aligning AWS capabilities in Analytics, Storage, and Streaming. You will craft go‑to‑market strategy, positioning, and messaging at a portfolio level to enable product launches and feature prioritization.
Key Responsibilities
Create positioning and messaging artifacts that represent AWS offerings at a portfolio level, including open data architecture.
Drive launches that span multiple services while telling a compelling story to customers and field.
Deliver product demonstrations, oversee third‑party agency product demo creation, and present architectural and design patterns to customers, partners, and field.
Work directly with customers to understand their architectural needs and solve complex business problems.
Translate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
Analyze and synthesize first‑ and third‑party data to define opportunities for AWS offerings and articulate common architectural and design patterns.
Create content artifacts (presentations, demos, etc.) that can be leveraged broadly to educate customers on our offerings.
Work closely with other AWS teams to ensure value propositions are articulated clearly and consistently.
Basic Qualifications
Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
Experience leading go‑to‑market for consumer software or hardware product launches.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience working directly with customers on adoption of cloud‑based products and services.
6+ years working knowledge of cloud‑based architectures in one or more technical domains (Analytics, Storage, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, AI, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or other data and cloud platforms.
Hands‑on experience with AWS or other data and cloud platforms.
AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
