The TRD Event Producer… is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of catered events, ensuring that all aspects of food and beverage service and event logistics are seamlessly integrated. They act as the bridge between clients, vendors, and the TRD internal team, managing the details that bring the event from conception to completion.

… is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of catered events, ensuring that all aspects of food and beverage service and event logistics are seamlessly integrated. They act as the bridge between clients, vendors, and the TRD internal team, managing the details that bring the event from conception to completion.
Requirements
Friendly and calm demeanor
Communicate well: write professional and efficient emails to co-workers, clients, vendors; effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups; have a strong command of the English language, in both written and verbal form
At least 2 years’ experience in catering and event PLANNING or related fields (eg, fine dining, winery, hotel & spa)
Demonstrated solid food knowledge and understanding of seasonality
Good time management
Experience in managing teams
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to design and set tables, buffet stations, etc. – this requires some professional experience and some creative experience
Working knowledge of Mac-based computer software (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
Must have a reliable means of transportation
Food Handler’s Certificate
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Have a flexible schedule that will accommodate some evening and weekend work
Spanish language skills a plus
Duties and Responsibilities Event Coordination and Logistics
Coordinate with venues, vendors, and service providers to secure necessary resources.
Manage event logistics, including venue setup, equipment rentals, and staffing needs.
Develop detailed event timelines and production schedules.
Coordinate (for yourself and other company staff) tastings, event walk-throughs, and meetings with clients, planners, venues as needed.
Work with the Staffing Manager to appropriately staff events.
Work with TRD Head Chef to plan and prepare for event day logistics.
Complete all catering paperwork, including schedules, floor plans, BOEs, and any changes or additions.
Create pack-out lists and ensure pack-outs are complete prior to events.
Write event details emails and disseminate in a timely manner to event staff.
Prepare event binders for events.
Client and Sales Support
Collaborate with the Sales Team to receive event details and transition projects smoothly.
Revise proposals as needed based on client feedback.
Coordinate and communicate all details of the event plan to vendors, staff, and clients.
Vendor and Relationship Management
Meet with venues and vendors as needed to maintain positive relationships.
Work with vendors to secure necessary items and services for events.
On-Site Event Team Management
Attend events to oversee operations and ensure client satisfaction; lead and direct a team of event staff, including servers, bartenders, and coordinators.
Assign roles and responsibilities, ensuring all team members understand their tasks.
Provide on-site supervision and support to ensure smooth event operations.
Oversee food presentation and service to ensure quality and consistency.
Ensure all rentals arrive and depart as planned – whether you manage this yourself or assign to an event staff person.
Take/gather photos pre- and post-event; catalog and file digitally.
Quality Control and Troubleshooting
Ensure high standards of service, presentation, and client satisfaction.
Address and resolve any issues or last-minute changes during events.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
