The Role We're looking for a Part-Time Motion Designer and Video Editor specialized in direct response/performance creative. You'll be producing short-form, scroll-stopping video ads for paid social platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more. This role is fast, iterative, and deeply performance-driven. This is not a brand-film role. You'll be editing at speed, testing hooks, iterating on winners, and letting performance data guide creative decisions. If you love shipping volume, learning what converts, and pushing creative that directly impacts revenue, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Edit high-volume short-form video ads (6-60s) optimized for paid media

Produce multiple variations from the same concept (hooks, pacing, CTAs, formats)

Adapt creative across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Display, etc.)

Collaborate closely with media buyers, copywriters, and creative strategists

Iterate on existing assets based on performance insights

Apply platform best practices while staying ahead of emerging creative trends

Maintain clean, organized project files and hit fast-paced deadlines

What You Bring

2-4+ years experience editing performance-focused video ads

Strong understanding of what makes ads convert, not just looks polished

Proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro

Figma

After Effects

CapCut, Descript, or similar fast-edit tools

Experience working with:

UGC-style footage

Influencer content

Product demos and overlays

Comfortable working in a high-output, test-and-learn environment

Ability to take direction from performance data and iterate quickly

Bonus Points

Experience in DTC, eCommerce, or subscription brands

Familiarity with Meta/TikTok ad specs and best practices

Basic motion graphics or animation skills

Understanding of hooks, pacing, and attention economics
