We are seeking a highly motivated Community Relationship Manager to build and maintain strategic relationships with medical providers, strengthen community partnerships, and enhance our firm’s presence in Kansas City and beyond.
Position Summary The Community Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with medical providers who treat personal injury clients, ensuring seamless collaboration between healthcare professionals and our legal team. Additionally, this role will engage with local non-profits and community organizations to identify ways the firm can give back. This position requires travel within Kansas City and other market locations as needed, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and a deep understanding of the city’s culture and traditions.
Key Responsibilities Medical Provider Relations
Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with medical providers who serve personal injury clients
Act as a liaison between medical professionals and the firm to ensure smooth coordination of care and legal services
Educate healthcare providers on the firm’s services, case processes, and best practices for treating personal injury patients
Attend medical networking events, conferences, and industry meetings
Community Engagement & Business Development
Establish relationships with local non-profits and community organizations to identify opportunities for the firm to give back
Represent the firm at charity events, community programs, and business networking functions
Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance the firm’s reputation in Kansas City and other markets
Identify potential partnership opportunities that align with the firm’s mission
Operational & Administrative Duties
Maintain a database of medical provider contacts and community partners
Provide regular reports on outreach efforts and relationship-building activities
Manage marketing materials and coordinate their distribution to partners
Assist with event planning and execution for firm-sponsored community initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field
Previous experience in business development, healthcare liaison roles, legal marketing, or community relations
Strong knowledge of Kansas City culture and traditions is highly preferred
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Evening and weekend availability is part of this role, as many events happen after hours
Strong public speaking, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and travel within Kansas City and to other markets as needed
