Business Development Representative
to join their top-performing sales team. As a
Business Development Representative , you’ll help drive the next phase of growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and connecting prospects with a game-changing platform. In this role, the
Business Development Representative
will gain deep insight into the metal recycling industry while helping a forward-thinking company modernize one of the world’s most essential sectors.
Responsibilities
Create new business opportunities to support company growth
Partner with Account Executives to achieve shared monthly sales quotas
Engage metal recycling professionals via phone, email, and other channels to understand challenges and offer solutions
Execute and refine outbound sales processes for new SaaS products in the scrap yard space
Work with sales management to build targeted outreach lists, develop messaging, and strategize call plans
Conduct pre-call research and make a high volume of daily outreach calls
Follow up with and nurture leads to move them through the sales funnel
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
Build, test, and improve sales operations to drive revenue growth
Collaborate with teammates to meet team-wide sales goals
Represent and reinforce the company’s cultural values as an early team member
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, good judgment, and a solution-focused approach
Use tools like G-Suite, Salesforce, and other software to support daily sales activities
Requirements
1–2+ years of experience in SaaS, preferably in software sales
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals
Familiarity with Salesforce, email automation tools, and other sales technologies
Experience selling into industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, recycling) is a plus
