Senior Director, Finance In this role, you will:

Provide input into the organization’s business model and operations to drive larger business decisions that advance the mission and enhance reputation.

Drive project/process resources and requirements to produce policies, practices, and information that shape the organization.

Implement solutions cognizant of financial and operational factors to improve performance.

Set organization‑wide requirements related to financial modeling and industry standard for complex financial modeling.

Improve reporting and modeling tools to enable advanced financial modeling.

Guide organization‑wide resource utilization to maximize performance and monitor operational efficiency.

Partner with stakeholders to build improvements impacting quality of products, services, and processes.

Ensure clear communication for complex technical information and coach simplification.

Identify emerging trends in finance and economic market to support competitive advantage.

Establish auditing standards and procedures for financial statements.

Ensure financial systems produce ROI and operate efficiently; advise on system use.

Determine QA process and strategy across financial systems.

Partner with business leaders to explore objectives and provide solutions.

Use financial analysis expertise to present results to senior executives and influence strategy.

Guide financial forecast process with partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field with 8 years progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in finance or related occupation.

Experience in eCommerce.

Understanding of two‑sided marketplace dynamics.

Financial modeling and forecasting.

Data analysis.

Worked in international company with operations across US and internationally.

Revenue & Cost Accounting.

Position requires relocation benefit not eligible and travel 25% domestic 25% international; may work remotely 2 days/week; must live within commuting distance of Expedia office.

Salary & Benefits The total cash range for this position in Seattle, WA is $269,000 to $430,500 per year. Starting pay will vary based on factors such as location and experience.
