We are currently seeking a collaborative teammate to join the Communications team as a
Corporate Communications Specialist . In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, compelling, brand-aligned and engaging copy that supports business objectives and enhances audience engagement.
What you will do:
Write and edit copy for websites, social media, email and print pieces.
Ensures all content is delivered on time and aligns with brand voice, tone and style guidelines.
Collaborates with Corporate Communications team and key stakeholders to develop compelling content.
Utilizes technology to schedule and release email and social media communications.
Generates reports on communications analytics.
Proofreads and edits content for accuracy and based on feedback from the review process.
Builds and segments distribution lists for email campaigns.
Assists with the development of annual communications calendars.
The selected candidate will work from the FCCI home office location in Sarasota, FL and enjoy an in-office role with a hybrid schedule (3/2).

The salary range for this position is $68,664-$105,739 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field. Note: Relevant, progressively responsible work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
Minimum of two years of professional writing experience with a strong background in writing skills.
Solid knowledge of the English language, grammar, journalism and AP reporting techniques.
Strong working knowledge of marketing/advertising and public relation principles.
Strong working knowledge of the organization and its public image philosophy.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
Proficiency with social media and email management tools.
