Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, the role involves partnering with various internal teams across the firm. Impact measurement, management, and reporting (IMM) play pivotal roles in the firm’s client value delivery. This cross‑functional position involves responsibilities such as leading the development of tailored impact reports, managing impact data systems, synthesizing complex datasets into compelling narratives, and supporting thought leadership in impact investing. The successful candidate will guide clients through the financial and impact outcomes of their portfolios, boosting the firm’s reputation as a leader in its field.
Responsibilities
Develop strategic vision for the evolution of the firm’s IMM approach and classification framework.
Coordinate the collection, management, and analysis of fund manager impact data.
Manage the annual manager impact survey process and deliver data‑driven insights.
Lead efforts to measure progress across impact dimensions of fund managers.
Research and maintain awareness of emerging IMM best practices and frameworks.
Design and implement impact measurement frameworks aligned with client objectives.
Lead development of the annual impact report and oversee quarterly impact investment profiles.
Produce custom client impact reports, translating technical impact data into engaging narratives.
Create educational materials, webinars, and presentations on impact investing topics.
Collaborate with marketing & communications to elevate the firm’s impact brand.
Requirements
7‑10 years of relevant experience in impact measurement, evaluation, management, and reporting.
Passion for and experience in impact investing.
Knowledge of the impact investing market and measurement frameworks.
Proficiency in financial analysis and portfolio management concepts.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts.
Collaborative approach with excellent organizational and social skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and IMM frameworks such as IRIS+ and B Impact Assessment.
Familiarity with IMM systems and software tools like Clarity AI and MSCI is a plus.
Strong quantitative skills with experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
