The Display Designer is responsible for designing and delivering inspirational custom display designs and turnkey installations for Monogram, Café and Profile brands within customer locations. The role works cross-functionally with teams across multiple business units to organize all design matters related to projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget. The Display Designer reports to the Custom Displays Design Manager and collaborates to ensure resources, schedules, and budgets align with brand guidelines. Location: USA, Louisville, KY Responsibilities

Design Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales, showroom teams, and marketing to develop showroom layouts that align with brand identity, customer engagement strategies, and retail objectives. Space plan showroom layouts of various sizes within a drafting software program. Iterate on designs by incorporating revisions, multiple layout versions, and material refinements to gain approvals for production. Prepare high-quality presentations in PowerPoint, including 3D colored renderings, material selections, and annotated plans for internal and external stakeholder discussions. Develop technical drawings, including electrical and mechanical plans, to ensure proper integration of appliances, cabinetry, lighting, and other showroom elements. Redline and review shop drawings from millwork suppliers and contractors to confirm precise appliance fit, material compatibility, and execution feasibility. Ensure brand standards are upheld in third-party display builds by providing design guidance, visual consistency, and technical oversight to vendors and external teams. Explore innovative design solutions, incorporating sustainable materials, modular fixture designs, and digital display technology when possible. Project Management Responsibilities: Lead project coordination with GE Appliances build and install partners to ensure showroom display execution aligns with brand expectations, timelines, and budgets. Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, design, vendor partners) via Microsoft Teams, project management software, and in-person meetings. Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring quality assurance, adherence to specifications, and timely delivery of showroom components. Attend weekly supplier meetings to provide design insights, troubleshoot challenges, and align on project goals and next steps. Oversee contracts, SOWs, and addendums, ensuring vendor agreements are aligned with project scopes and approved efficiently. Develop and maintain installation documentation, including detailed drawings, cabinetry/appliance lists, material specifications, and electrical plans. Procure project-specific materials, such as props, hardware, wallcoverings, digital signage elements, and unique showroom accessories. Maintain an organized project database via SharePoint, Smartsheet, or other collaboration platforms, ensuring design files, approvals, and version histories are well-documented and accessible. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in interior design, industrial design or related field. 3 years of experience as a design assistant, kitchen designer, or related work experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD or other relevant design drafting software (e.g., 2020, SketchUp, Chief Architect). Strong understanding of millwork detailing, construction drawings, and appliance specifications. Experience managing design projects with multiple stakeholders and external vendors. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with rendering software such as Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion. Familiarity with AR/VR showroom visualization tools. Knowledge of ADA compliance and retail display regulations. Our Culture
