The

Broadcast Manager

is a critical operational and administrative support role within the NWSL Broadcast Department. This position partners closely with the Senior Director of Broadcast & Production and functions as a force multiplier, taking day-to-day execution, coordination, and logistical tasks off leadership’s plate so the department can operate efficiently and at scale. This is a hands-on, execution-focused support role. It requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing details, and is comfortable managing and aligning multiple workflows simultaneously. The Broadcast Manager will support live events on a weekly basis, including nights and weekends, and will regularly coordinate travel and logistics for 60 or more freelance production and on‑air talent throughout the season. While familiarity with broadcast or live production is helpful, this role is intentionally open to candidates from events, logistics, operations, or similar fields where organization, communication, and real-time problem‑solving are essential. The responsibilities of this role will evolve as the Broadcast Department continues to grow. What You Will Own & Drive

Support weekly broadcast operations across all NWSL matches, domestic and international Assist with travel for 25+ freelance production crew and on‑air talent each weekend, including troubleshooting changes and issues in real time Assist with weekly production budget tracking and reconciliation Review, track, and support approval of talent and production invoices Partner with the Senior Director of Broadcast & Production on broadcast schedules and weekly planning Manage and communicate Broadcast Department assignments to internal teams and external partners, including staff coverage and out‑of‑office coordination Lead weekly international broadcast communications, including partner emails and maintenance of internal tracking documents Add and maintain international broadcast formats and deliverables within NWSL Broadcast website Maintain and update domestic and international broadcast email contact lists Monitor delays Slack channel, schedule changes, and operational issues, updating all relevant internal, international, and board‑facing communication chains promptly Arrange periodic meetings between leadership and freelance production crew and on‑air talent Represent the Broadcast Department in internal meetings as needed Provide general administrative and operational support across all broadcast initiatives, with responsibilities expanding as the department evolves What You Will Bring

Core Qualifications

3+ years of seasoned experience

in complex logistics, large-scale event planning, or multifaceted operational roles, ideally within a high‑growth or sports‑centric environment. Mastery of organizational systems

with a proven ability to architect and manage high‑volume, detail‑intensive workflows across multiple concurrent workstreams. Expertise in high‑velocity execution , demonstrating the ability to multitask and pivot priorities effectively within a fast‑moving, deadline‑driven landscape. Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with the professional confidence to direct and coordinate large teams of freelancers, vendors, and external stakeholders. Unwavering reliability and responsiveness , featuring an ironclad commitment to follow‑through regarding mission‑critical travel logistics and live event operations. Operational "Battle-Readiness,"

Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to support league initiatives and on‑site event execution. Commitment to the Competitive Season:

Full availability to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the league schedule. Preferred Qualifications

Industry Familiarity:

Direct experience in broadcast production or live sports event management is highly preferred, providing a baseline understanding of the industry’s unique demands. Precision-Based Background:
