
Position Overview
As part of the talented Marketing team, you will own Mercury Marine’s marketing and merchandising experience across national and regional retailer partners. This role brings Mercury’s brand to life in retail environments by leading visual direction, merchandising strategy, promotional execution, and day‑to‑day marketing support for retailers. Essential Functions
Serve as the DRI for retail brand standards, visual identity, and merchandising execution across all retailer touchpoints. Develop, document, and govern Mercury Marine’s retail visual identity and standards—including planograms, visual merchandising guidelines, signage systems, logo usage, and color and material palettes—in partnership with Creative and Brand teams. Own the design, production, rollout, and lifecycle management of POP, signage, graphics, and fixtures, ensuring scalability, quality, and operational efficiency. Own and optimize the retail planogram software platform, including governance, content standards, planogram development, retailer deployment, and ongoing optimization. Lead training and communication efforts with sales and field teams to drive adoption of retail standards and tools. Ensure Mercury’s brand, product content, and merchandising standards are accurately and consistently represented across retailer websites and digital touchpoints. Partner with key stakeholders to align national marketing initiatives with retailer‑specific strategies and in‑store execution. Assist in executing national marketing programs that drive traffic and lead generation at the retailer level. Vendor & Budget Management
Manage and oversee external vendors, including print, signage, merchandising, fixtures, and production partners, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost efficiency. Support budget planning, forecasting, and spend tracking for retail marketing programs and production, ensuring strong ROI and financial accountability. Performance, Reporting & Optimization
Define, track, and report on KPIs and ROI for retail marketing programs, merchandising initiatives, and promotional activations. Use performance insights to continuously refine standards, programs, and execution models to improve retailer engagement and business impact. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Display & Presentation, or related field 5–7 years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, or similar field Strong visual, creative, and merchandising skills Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and complex projects Strong communication skills and experience influencing stakeholders and partners Willingness to travel periodically to support retailers (10%) Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is 73,600 – 117,900 annually.
